1 Quick Apply Full-time Part-time 12 hours ago Full Job Description The Food Service Manager is responsible for directing, coordinating and managing the activities necessary to assure a quality food service program for residents, employees and guests.
The Food Service Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the Food Service Department and for maintaining quality standards and expense goals.
The Food Service Manager is responsible for operational excellence within the Food Service Department to ensure that the department provides nutritious, high quality meal service in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, professional standards and local, state and federal regulations.
The employee must be able to perform these essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation by the employer, without posing a direct threat to himself/herself or to others.

) Monitors expenses and revenues of the Food Service Department to achieve the financial goals of the facility.
Demonstrates effective management/leadership skills in the area of primary responsibility and in all facility activities.
Supervises department manager and support staff in order to provide quality food services by a satisfied staff in a cost effective manner.
Provides a quality Food Service Program assuring that residents are satisfied, their nutritional needs are met, and an efficient operation is maintained.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Must demonstrate organizational and food preparation as well as human relations skills in order to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Food Service Department in accordance with current state and local standards as well as established policies and procedures of Paramount Health Resources.
Assure that quality food service is provided at all times.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English orally and written and be able to organize and maintain files and records.
Requires frequent bending, stooping, stretching and lifting.
Requires moving boxes and heavy pots.
Experience:
Prior experience in food service and preparation and management required.
Certificate/Licenses:
(1) Certificates/licenses as required by local/state/federal agencies.

$65,000.
