years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping Client management experience with ability to service multiple client accounts efficiently and effectively Proficiency in utilizing available accounting technology/software to automate the bookkeeping process including online banking, bill pay, general ledger integration with payroll Ability to prepare cash flow statements, trial balances, bank reconciliations, and financial reports Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments Ability to manage journal entries to ledger accounts Experience with financial statements and tax returns Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytic skills Strong verbal and written communication skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Proactive, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn from experienced professionals Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Hybrid remote work model available, but must be willing to travel to clients throughout central New Jersey as determined by firm management Quick Apply.
