Are you available weekends for our flexible schedule? Summary A Cashier is responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register/point of purchase system.
Duties include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns and scanning items for sale.
Maintaining a positive impression through excellent customer service to our customers is key! Responsibilities A Cashier will process sales transactions Calculate the cost of products or services A Cashier will accept payments as indicated as acceptable payments by our SOP Calculate and return change when required by the payment method A Cashier will maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change Answer customer questions about products or services A Cashier will reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts Report issues with equipment A Cashier will perform all other duties and functions as assigned Requirements Excellent work ethic and self motivated to provide excellent customer service Friendly and approachable Able to perform basic math using a register to provide accurate change to customers Must be flexible with work schedule and available both weekend days and holidays Additional Information This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.

Working Conditions Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces.
There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
May require lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
Usually in a comfortable indoor environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard.
There could be exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and/or coolers.
There may be occasional exposure to cleaning agents, sharp objects/industrial equipment necessary to perform job duties and functions.
