Summary:
The production Technician is responsible for meeting production schedules and ensuring safety and quality controls related to the IVD test kits.
In addition, the production Technician will be required to develop and implement any functions related to the process changes and new equipment to improve production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to all applicable health, safety, and environmental compliance regulations, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements (Purchase Orders, Packaging Lists).
Prepare and assemble materials (reagents, diluents, raw materials, media prep).
Accurately record information on production documents (standard operating procedures and manufacturing batch records).
Assign lot numbers.
Assign expiration dates.
Test products for quality following quality control procedures.
Issue Certificate of Analysis.
Track and maintain inventories of in-process and approved products.
Maintain adequate supplies of raw materials.
Order raw materials as needed.
Collect hazardous or regulated medical waste in correctly labeled containers and transfer it to collection areas.
Clean production equipment and work areas.
Monitor the collection of hazardous or regulated medical waste and coordinate the pick-up schedule with the front office.
Training of employees and reviewing training records.
Collaborate with cross-functional Departments.
Support and participate in other product lines as needed.
Other duties as required and assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other quality functions as necessary or as requested to assure products meet specification for Immunostics, Inc.
