Position Overview:
The Sales Professional/Design Specialist position is:
As commissioned sales professional you are dedicated to assisting new and established customers select their ideal Home Furnishing needs. A successful Sales Professional/Design Specialist will listen intently to the customer needs, be knowledgeable of available product and industry trends, have a keen awareness of customer needs and be a resource in making customer's Home D cor visions a reality.
Responsibilities:
Greeting guests upon entry into our retail showroom, and understanding the purpose for their visit.
Developing a clientele with guest and develop a long-term relationship
Presenting and discussing various home furnishings product options based upon your discovery of the prospective clients lifestyle, needs and goals
Achieve and exceed sales goals in a commission based environment. Meet deadlines in a revenue-driven atmosphere with unlimited earning potential!
Assisting customers in financing, purchasing, delivery and ultimate satisfaction
Increasing personal knowledge of products, sales techniques, and promotions through continuous professional training and development
Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Build your business by prospecting with new and existing customers and by scheduling appointments.
Being part of a team and working well to help them succeed
Create customer base by cold calling,
Deliver outstanding, energetic customer service
Requirements:
Proven sales experience in a commission based environment.
Two years proven retail experience desirable.
Ability to dress for success in a showroom environment.
Business to business sales experiences a plus.
Entrepreneurial and team oriented
Professional communication, interpersonal and follow-up skills, great listener.
Coachable and self-directed learner who is always willing to learn
High energy people person, relentless in pleasing the customer
Professional, driven, positive, resilient, and achievement-focused
Detailed, strong follow up and follow through; excellent time-management
Basic computer knowledge is required
Comprehend basic financial terms
Availability have a flexible work schedule - to work some evenings and all weekends, and special company events, to accommodate a full- time work schedule
Highly organized
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs
Ability to regularly stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull or move objects of at least 25 lbs.
Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom
Ability to distinguish between various styles, colors, and textures.
Ability to wear/communicate with headset
