POSITION DESCRIPTION Responsible for the development and audit of processes and procedures that ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to environmental, health and safety and handles all contact with Business Units and appropriate agencies. Ensures appropriate corrective action is taken where environmental, health, and safety hazards exist. May provide/promote employee awareness/training on matters of environmental, health, and safety. Minimum Educ and Exp:Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental, Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Preferred Educ and Exp:Masters in Occupational, Health, and Safety Engineering or Industrial Hygiene FUNCTIONING FACTORS Knowledge: Applies basic knowledge of practices and procedures for specific area of responsibility. Problem Solving: Develops solutions to routine problems of limited scope. Discretion / Latitude: Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions. Impact: Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious affect on schedules and programs. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
