Licensed practical Nurse who is responsible for the delivery of nursing care as directed by the Occupational Health RN Case Manager, Site Supervisor and /or Provider.
Per diem coverage is needed across all sites. LPN will be required to fill in at any location
Responsibilities
A day in the life of an Occupational Health LPN at Meridian includes:
Delivery of nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care, to provide and ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care
Provides nursing care in the Occupational Health setting. Responsibilities include; assisting with physicals, EKG, pulmonary function testing, audiometry, drug screen collection
Injections and vaccine administration
Perform blood draws as needed
Assisting with care of the employee who has sustained a work related injury.Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and other members of the health care team regarding patient's status, rendered care and treatment plans
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical NursingCurrent and valid LPN license in the State of New JerseyCPR/BLS is required3-5 years experience, preferably in a medical office setting Computer proficiency, Experience with EMR is preferred
Must have transportation to travel between mutiple Occupational Health sites.
